Residential Schools and the recent discoveries of hundreds of unmarked graves.

The discoveries of the remains and unmarked graves of hundreds of Indigenous children outside former residential schools have shocked and deeply saddened people across Canada. The members of the Official Board at Calvary Memorial United Church share these feelings and support the United Church of Canada's efforts to assist the ongoing healing initiatives in Indigenous communities impacted by the residential school system.
